PURPOSE OF MY BLOG

Jesus said to his disciples in Matthew 28:19-20 (New Living Translation)

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you.”

and in Matthew 22:36-40 (New Living Translation)

“Teacher, which is the most important commandment, in the law of Moses?”
Jesus replied: “You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. A second is equally important: Love your neighbour as yourself. All the other commandments and all the demands of the prophets are based on these two commandments.”

My duty as a re-born Christian is to tell everybody what Jesus has done in my life, tell them about the gospel, the Good News, that we have been offered a pardon for our sins from God the Father, if we accept the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.

It is hurting me so much to see that millions of people are rejecting the offer from God the Father and see them going to everlasting condemnation. Matthew 7:13-14 says:
“You can enter God’s Kingdom only through the narrow gate. The highway to hell is broad and its gate is wide for the many who choose the easy way. But the gateway to life is small, and the road is narrow, and only few ever find it.” (New Living Translation)

My friend, you might say that you can’t believe all this nonsense, but let me tell you, if you believe it or not, it will not change the truth, but it will change your destination. We are here on earth to make a decision which will decide where we will spend our eternity.

From the moment we are born, we belong to Satan’s Kingdom, because he is the ruler of this world. If we do nothing, then we will be condemned with him to eternal destruction, which means we will end up in the Lake of Fire. But if we make the decision to accept God’s pardon, then we will jump out of Satan’s frying pan and into God’s Kingdom. We will become a citizen of heaven.

Therefore the purpose of my blog is to reach as many people as possible to tell them the Good News, that whoever calls upon the name of Jesus Christ and repents, will have forgiveness of their sins and have everlasting life. Jesus said himself:
“I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.” (John 14:6, New Living Translation)

The next step is to teach the new disciples to obey the commandments Jesus has given to them, which are to love God with all your heart, to love your neighbour and preach the gospel to all nations.

At my blog you will find devotions and bible studies, to study the word of God and to help you to grow as a young Christian and I have articles in Christian Education to help you to grow into a mature Christian. There will be every fortnight new posts to inform and teach you about Christian issues.

End Times Prophecy is more for the mature Christian. It is a wake up call for many, because our Lord Jesus Christ is coming back soon.

God our Father doesn’t want anybody to perish. Scripture says in John 3:16 (New Living Translation)
“For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. God did not send his Son into the world to condemn it, but to save it.”

So, today when you hear God’s voice, do not close your ears and your heart, but respond to his offer to pardon you from sin. This pardon only extends for your life time, once you are dead there is no offer of pardon anymore. What are you waiting for? What can you loose?
